Gays are Friends, not Fools!

Do you have any idea how much of the population of the whole World is gay? Well, me neither. All I know is that it doesn’t really matter if you are gay, straight or bi? As long as you stay true to yourself and that you stay true to your country and to your people, there is nothing to worry about.

I know you might be wondering why in the hell am I writing about gays? Well, this is my answer. Why not? They are people no different from us. We live with them everyday. It’s just that they are afraid. They know how people treat them. Well, not all people treat them the same. Some accept them, some judge them, some criticize them and some destroy them. What is really wrong with them? Nothing. Lady Gaga once said, “I’m beautiful in my way, cause God makes no mistakes, I’m on the right track, baby I was born this way!” This is actually true. God made us, and He also taught us to love one another. If you will judge others, just look in the mirror first. Before you look at the person you will judge, look at yourself first. And ask yourself, “Who am I to judge him/her?” Yes, that’s right! Who are you to do that? You might not know that the person you’ll judge may have cleaner heart than you. Who knows? Only God do.

Everything happens for a reason. Maybe you are destined to be like that in order to survive the ups and downs of your life. Always remember that you have to respect yourself. Think before you act. Maybe the reason why people hate you is because of the way you act, speak, or maybe you are disrespecting something that they respect. You have to think first. If this certain action will do you good or not. C’est la vie! (It’s life!) Anything can happen. And you are you because of you! If you are bullied you have to do something. If your are depressed, you have to do something. It’s not about being who your parents want you to be. It’s not about who your friends want you to be. It’s about who YOU want to be. Life is all about you. It’s who you are. And those people have nothing to do with that. They have to deal with it in one way or the other.

Lots of gay people are successful. They did what they have to. That stayed true all the way. They didn’t let anybody change them. Only God can change man. Nothing is wrong with trying. You may be afraid that if you do this, you might not survive because of who you are. You’re wrong! You may never know, nor assume, what will happen. Crazy thing happen in life! You have to try to move forward, make a step. One step at a time. And one day, you will so yourself up there, and you will look back to where you were and be proud of yourself.

Everybody knows Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia DeRossi right? She is lesbian and she is proud of it. She made it to the top of the show business as a great comedienne. She makes us laugh everyday on her show. She faced the consequences and she survived. Now she’s living happily with the one she loves. She really didn’t mind the people opposing her. In fact, there are more people who like her then those who don’t. We’ve got enough proof here, she have 13 Emmy Awards, 3 American Comedy Awards, a Saturn Award, a Teen Choice Award and still more to come in the next awards. She not only makes people laugh, she inspires them. She’s a really great person. She helps in charities and foundations and she supports Global AIDS Awareness. She’s really having a happy life now, with staggering pride.

Now there’s a really sweet and happy couple. Everyone knows the guy on the right. It’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson! He plays the role of Mitchell Pritchett on the sitcom Modern Family. His partner is Justin Mikita, who is a lawyer, civil rights activist and developed the American Foundation for Equal Rights which is leading the fight for marriage equality. This is really one happy couple, I can tell. They too faced being bullied once, of course, any gay should be prepared for that. But look at them now, they’re facing life ahead of them and the great part there is that they face it together! Justin supports Jesse’s acting and broadway career and Jesse supports Justin’s law career. It’s just every gay man’s dream to find his prince and these two found theirs. They live now together and with pride.

Both really great actors and great parents too. Neil Patrick Harris plays Barney Stinson on the famous How I Met Your Mother, and David is an entertainment news correspondent for E! They’re both really happy now. They are parents to baby twins and they are doing really great. They now live free, free from worries, free from fear, they just live and they deserve it. That’s what you deserve too. Having a great family doesn’t require a mother a father and some babies, family means you live in one roof where you all love each other. You all look for each other’s back. You all accept each other and you won’t mind. That is what a great family is. As long as everyone’s happy, you can be proud to live with the people you love and who loves you.

Who is the happier man? He who has braved the storm of life and lived? Or he who has stayed on the shore and merely existed?

– Hunter S. Thompson

Just take a time from your day to stare at your reflection in the mirror. You don’t have to be someone else, you have to be you. And if you think you are not brave enough to face everything, then find someone who will help you. Never stop! Life is too short to doubt yourself. You have to take every moment you have to fight for yourself, not for someone else, but for you! You just have to be you and everything in life will be in its right places. No matter lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender, you have to promise yourself (not me! but you!) that you have to survive. You have to face everyone and be open. Stop hiding in the closet. The true people who are true to themselves know what the right thing to do, and that is to accept you. It’s okay to be afraid but you have to face it, face your fear and be proud!
